In Oldham’s first ever Light Night, we worked with the main Oldham Parish Church, an extraordinary building who's interior is richly painted in colourful patterns.  The large church organ similarly features ornate patterning on the pipework, and this formed the startpoint for Within these Walls.  With a specially composed piece for the organ, we recorded audio and took images from within the church, which then formed a visual toccata on the exterior.  Thousands came out for the event on a cold January day, and future events are now planned.
